Our programs are designed to improve leadership effectiveness by enhancing clients’ emotional and social competencies, which frequently are referred to as Emotional Intelligence.  Our approach to enhancing Emotional Intelligence is rooted in our proprietary LEADER-EFFECT® Model that comprises twelve key evidence-based leadership skills. We know that the better a leader is at using these skills, the better a leader he or she will be. We also know that each leader must develop her, or his, own way of using them.

We help Nursing Home Administrators, Directors of Nursing and other long-term care professionals to use LEADER-EFFECT® skills, taking into account their current Emotional Intelligence, which is relatively amenable to change, and their Psychological Type, which refers to a set of characteristics that are more stable and resistant to change.  In other words, we help long-term care professional to maximize their strengths and minimize their weaknesses in developing a leadership style that works for them. We use the most respected and widely used assessment instruments including the Myers-Briggs Type Inventory®, the BarOn EQ-I® and the BarOn-360® to supplement interview data and other available information to provide a multiple-perspective assessment of each client before setting goals and designing strategies to achieve them.
